• Joel & Catherine Bundick - Senior Pastor

Joel Bundick has served as Community of Grace’s lead pastor since 2009. Joel has a genuine love for people and helping people to focus on who God has created them to be. He appreciates the caring community of COG and the sincerity of its people in their passion for God’s Word. He considers the friendships he’s developed here to be some of the richest of his life. Joel and his wife Catherine have two grown sons, both of whom live in the Denver area with their wives. When he’s not spending time with his family or the people of COG, you’ll often find Joel in his kayak out at Quincy Reservoir hoping for some naïve bass to hit his line. He also enjoys woodworking and smoking meat.

  • Christopher Hart - Associate Pastor

Chris Hart is our associate pastor, and he and his wife Melanie have been members of COG since 2006. A military change of station originally brought the Harts to the Denver area, and they were attracted to COG’s reliance on the Word of God as a life compass and loved the community feel of our church. Chris served as an elder for many years before being called into full-time ministry in the spring of 2019. Chris and Melanie, married for over thirty years, have three adult children and one grandchild.  Chris enjoys hiking, cycling, grilling, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. He’d love your advice on the art of bonsai. Contact

  • J Lloyd - Student Ministry

J Lloyd serves as COG’s youth pastor. He and his wife Amanda, along with their two young children, have been in an important part of COG for years, with J stepping into the role of youth pastor in May of 2019. The fact that J considers himself to be in many ways a teenager stuck in a 30-something body may be one of the reasons he connects so well to the youth at COG. He enjoys the challenge of presenting biblical truth to our young people in engaging and memorable ways. When he’s not spending time with his family or our youth, J likes mountain biking, hiking, playing corn hole, and working on his yard and house. Contact

She enjoys preparing lessons for our children that help them walk more closely with Jesus and enjoys teaching in Kidstown, finding the kids’ enthusiasm for Jesus contagious. One of her favorite things about COG is the high priority people here place on relationships with each other. Nancy and her husband John have been married for over twenty years, and they have two teenage children, Jilli and Ethan. Nancy loves to spend time with her kids, involving herself in their hobbies and interests knowing that her time with each of them is precious. Contact

  • David Finton - Worship Pastor

David Finton is Community of Grace's worship pastor. He, his wife Ellie, and their two children have been part of COG since 2016, and David became the worship pastor here near the end of 2019. One of the things he appreciates most about Community of Grace is that this church is real: we know that everyone has hurts, struggles, and faults; and he's seen the people of COG embrace each other and provide support like a family should in the midst of those. In his spare time, David enjoys recording music, playing video games, and reading fantasy novels.  Contact
