Kids Town

Our mission is to guide every child into a genuine and unshakable relationship with Jesus Christ that continues to mature and develop along with the child. We do this by providing a safe and loving place for children to learn, play, and worship. Every child has an important place in God's story and in Kids Town children get to begin exploring just what that means.

  • Nancy Carroll

Nancy Carroll is passionate about children and even more so in teaching them about Jesus. Her husband John is our Media facilitator and they love serving COG side by side. Nancy's gentle touch for our children comes from her experience at an elementary teacher for many years.  She is a 'no child left behind' advocate.

Sunday morning

Family life is busier than ever but in Kids Town, time slows down, as kids get to play and relax all while soaking up God's Word. Children from newborns through fifth grade are welcome to come learn about Christ and their special place in God's plan.

Where do you go?

We are in the South building on the bottom floor.

When do you come?

Doors are open at 9:45am and class lasts from 10:00am-11:15am.

What do your children learn?

Children in our twos and pre-k classes follow along with our Lil' K curriculum where they learn topical Bible lessons that are presented in a fun way that is easy to understand.

Once children enter kindergarten, they graduate to our next curriculum, The Gospel Project. Through The Gospel Project they will work their way through the entire Bible two times before moving up to student ministry. Each lesson focuses on a key verse to memorize, a Bible story, life application, crafts and games, prayer, as well as worship time and Bible study time. The lesson is broken up between sections where all of our children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade come together for large group and time in small groups with other children your child's age.

The First leap

The First Leap is our apologetics class designed specifically for kids. Earlier and earlier children are being faced with tough questions and finding their faith challenged. We feel it is important that children not only know the Bible well but that they know why they believe the Bible in the first place. The First Leap class provides a safe place for children to work through tough questions. After all, this is their first leap into the big world and we feel it's important to work alongside families to set them up for success.

The First Leap meets Sundays from 8:30am-9:30am
